Privacy policy

Ava Healthcare Limited ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Information we collect
- Enquiries: your name, organisation, email address, phone number and message when you use our contact form, email us or message us on WhatsApp.
- Job applications: your name, contact details, location, the role you applied for, years of experience, expected pay, when you can start, LinkedIn profile, note and CV when you apply through our careers page. Applications are emailed to our recruitment inbox (careers@avahealthcareltd.com) and may also be saved to our company Google Drive (a folder and spreadsheet for each role); if delivery fails, the application is held briefly on our website host until it can be delivered.
- Job alerts: your email address, if you ask us to email you about new roles. We email you only after you confirm, and every email has a link to stop them.
- Ava CRM licences: when a company registers for Ava CRM, we keep its name and contact details, its administrator's name and email, the link to its storage folder and its licence dates. Ava CRM's working data (accounts, calls and plans) stays in the company's own Google Drive, OneDrive or SharePoint and is not stored by us. See the Ava CRM privacy policy for full details.
- Technical data: basic information your browser sends when you visit, such as IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider uses to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide quotes, products or services you request.
- To assess job applications and contact shortlisted candidates.
- To keep records required by law and for the proper running of our business.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Cookies and Google Analytics
If you agree in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this website (for example, which pages are viewed and whether a quote or trial was requested), so we can improve it and measure our advertising. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address in shortened form, your browser and device type and the pages you visit. It is not loaded unless you choose "Accept", and you can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Google processes this data for us under its own privacy policy; Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run this website and our email (our website host, our email providers, which deliver and store job applications, Google Analytics, if you accept analytics cookies, and Google, which stores job applications in our Google Drive), and only as needed for them to provide that service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations. We keep CVs and applications for up to 12 months so we can consider you for suitable roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent at any time. To do this, email hello@avahealthcareltd.com (for job applications, careers@avahealthcareltd.com). You may also contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
